Brazilian Journal of Kinanthropometry and Human Performance

The purpose of the Brazilian Journal of Kinanthropometry and Human Performance (BJKHP) is to publish the results of scientific research covering the areas of Kinanthropometry and Human Performance. BJKHP is targeted at professionals working in Physical Education, Exercise and Sports Science.

The BJKHP has been published since 1999 by the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, Brazil. The journal was published annual from 1999 (vol. 1) to 2002 (vol. 4), biannual from 2003 (vol. 5) to 2005 (vol. 7), quarterly from 2006 (vol. 8) to 2009 (vol. 11) and bimonthly - 2010 (vol. 12).

Index H - if calculated by the "Publish or Perish" the "Revista Brasileira de Cineantropometria e Desempenho Humano" attained H 13 now , and in 2008 was H 6 (information obtained on 19/06/11).

On December 28 of 2010, the BJKHP was accepted for the Scopus database and on April 8 of 2011 received a decision in favor of its inclusion in SciELO Brazil.
