THE PRACTICE OF TEACHING AND SUPERVISED TRAINEESHIP IN THE FORMATION OF THE MATHEMATICS TEACHER

Abstract

The article presents the historical trajectory of the practice of teaching and supervised traineeship in the legislation of Brazilian education. It also tries to understand the
changes occurred in the curriculum and in the paper of the practice of teaching and supervised traineeship in the Math teachers' formation for the last forty years, taking as a base the analysis of the activities of traineeship in the course of Mathematics at the Regional University of Blumenau, created in 1968. In order to do so, we detach historical facts and legal aspects related to the practice of teaching and the realization of traineeship, it presents
and interprets the data of the field investigation, concluding that it is fundamental the connection between theory and practice, action and reflection in the initial formation of the
educator.

Rosinete Gaertner, Universidade Regional de Blumenau

possui graduação em Matemática pela Fundação Universidade Regional de Blumenau (1984), mestrado em Educação Ensino Superior pela Fundação Universidade Regional de Blumenau (1994) e doutorado em Educação Matemática pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2004). Atualmente é professor titular da Fundação Universidade Regional de Blumenau. Tem experiência na área de Matemática, com ênfase em Educação Matemática, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: metodologia de ensino, história oral e educação matemática, conseqüências pedagógicas, história da educação matemática e formação de professores.

Vanessa Oechsler, Universidade Regional de Blumenau

Possui graduação em Matemática pela Fundação Universidade Regional de Blumenau (2008) e ensino-medio-segundo-grau pelo Colégio Sagrada Família (2004) . Atualmente é Professor do Ensino Médio da Escola Técnica do Vale do Itajaí e Auxiliar de Coordenação Política da Câmara Municipal de Blumenau.
